Sponsors

Lake Country Action Shooters would like to thank its sponsors for their extraordinary help, without which it would never be able to achieve the results it has accomplished:

Canyon Creek Custom Gunsmithing

Grip and trigger: a beautiful pistol
A beautiful tuned and finished pistol

Richard Dettelhouser, of Canyon Creek Custom, is an IPSC Grand Master and has been a full-time gunsmith for over 10 years. He specializes in 1911s, Springfield XD/Ms, and Tanfoglios. All of Lake Country Action Shooters’ Springfield XDM pistols are accurized by Richard and Canyon Creek Custom. Without Richard, our shooters would not meet the success they have had. Thanks a bunch Richard!

Acme Bullets

Acme Bullets LogoAcme Bullets makes Hi-Tek coated “Lipstick” bullets for Lake Country Action Shooters, which our shooters have used both for competition and for practice. Our shooters shoot A LOT along the year, and the cost of ammunition is a heavy burden on their families. Acme Bullets makes it more affordable for our shooters to shoot as much as they need to in order to be competitive. Thanks so much ACME!

Jagemann Sporting Group

Jagemann Brass Pic2 800x600Jagemann Sporting Group manufactures a full line of high quality brass, which our shooters use for reloading, both for practice and for competition. Because each shooter shoots many thousands of rounds every year, Jagemann makes it possible for them to be able to afford a sport where shooting more is required in order to get results. Thanks so much JAGEMANN!

Ewald Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Oconomowoc

ewald_logoWe are very thankful to the Ewald dealership for providing our team transportation to our shoots and meets. Like all sports, this sport requires enormous commitment from our shooters, but also carries a very significant cost to their families. We really appreciate Ewald’s support, as a local business, to our community.  Thanks so much Ewald!

The Club hosts a variety of “open to the public” events ranging from different leagues, fall deer sight-ins, to a wide variety of educational opportunities through Heritage Shooting. Stone Bank Sportsmen’s Club is our home club – thank you, Stone Bank Sportsmen!

Scholastic Action Shooting Program

The core of our shooting focuses on scholastic action shooting, the sport of the Scholastic Action Shooting Program organized by the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF). The SSSF is responsible for all aspects of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) across the United States. SCTP and SASP are youth development programs in which adult coaches and other volunteers use shooting sports to teach and to demonstrate sportsmanship, responsibility, honesty, ethica, integrity, teamwork, and other positive life skills. SCTP was developed as a program of the Nation Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) until the SSSF was created in 2007 to operate the SCTP. In 2012, SSSF created the SASP and became the managing foundation of both programs.
